B-K Lighting introduces state of the art patent-pending heat management technology in Precision 2® Series, emitting the highest lumen output within nominal in-grade fixture profile to date. Precision2® Series now incorporates copper heat pipe technology in its housing terminal to accelerate heat transfer away from the LED module permitting higher wattages and increased lumen source output.

"The introduction of our newly designed heat sink system incorporates heat pipe technology in our in-grade fixture housing and allows us to manage higher heat fluxes than ever before. We are able to manage more than twice the original wattage and emit over 4 times the amount of lumen output," said Nathan Sloan, President of B-K Lighting. "Throughout our company, we strive to give the industry what it requires to perform at its optimum. This incorporated technology will ensure longer lifetime performance of the LED’s and less maintenance cost."

The new heat management technology allows the wattage of the LED module to increase from its original release of 15 watts to 34 watts. Temperatures inside the fixture are maintained more than 10% below the LED manufacturers recommended rating. While vastly improving lumen output from 1,000 lumens to 4,200 lumens, increasing the lumen output to these levels highly improves upon the efficiency of the fixture for the end-user in this small, but powerful fixture profile.
