This ultra-rare honor couldn't be bestowed upon a more deserving individual who's passion for innovative and industry-leading lighting doesn't stop when the time clock is punched. Mr. Raya would probably tell you there's no such thing anyway - and he's right!

His projects, spanning over 30 years, have included every imaginable genre ranging from corporate buildings, hotels, private homes, municipal projects and commercial projects like the The River in Rancho Mirage. Completed in 2001, The River utilizes 9 Tree Strap™ MB2, 42 Tree Strap™ TMC, 23 Power Pipe II™, 55 Drive Star™, 66 Step Star™, 191 HP2 Series Integral Ballast Metal Halide and 60 Delta Star™ fixtures. If you have ever visited the southern desert region of California there's a great chance you've golfed, vacationed or shopped in one of Ralph's projects.

A few of Ralph's favorite B-K fixures include the HP2 Series Deep Housing Halogen (PAR20/30), the Nite Star™ Solid State (BKSSL®) and the Delta Star™.  His long-standing tradition to specify B-K Lighting products hasn't gone unnoticed, is highly appreciated and it is with great satisfaction that he now stands among the ranks of BKU alumni.
