Naus, who joined B-K Lighting in 2001, has progressively assumed more managerial responsibilities within the organization, first as National Sales Manager, then V.P. Sales and Marketing, and for the past two years as Executive Vice President for both companies. In that time, the company has continued to expand globally, affirming its position as the product of choice within the outdoor landscape and architectural lighting communities. Naus help facilitate the acquisition of Teka Illumination in 2005, and has been instrumental in positioning the company as a key market driver in solid state lighting technology over the past eight years.
Mr. Hagen will retain his position as CEO and Founder. The move frees him to devote more of his time to personal and other business interests, placing the daily management and strategic plan of the companies with Naus. Watch and learn more in Doug's interview with LightPitch at the ELS Expo.
"Joining B-K Lighting in 2001 was the best business decision I've ever made," said Naus. "These past twelve years have just flown by. Doug has shown incredible faith in our team and has humbled me in his decision. It is a privilege to lead us into our fourth decade and beyond," he continued.

As a respected industry leader, Naus currently sits on the Landscape Lighting and Testing Procedures for Solid State Lighting committees of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. He is a past Director at Large and current Treasurer for the IALD Education Trust. He also serves on the Lightfair International Exhibitor Advisory Committee.
Mr. Naus is an Affiliate Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers, a voting member of the Lighting Industry Resource Council, and an Associate Member of the IESNA.
