December Nights is San Diego's largest and most popular community event as upwards of 300,000 visitors over two days visit Balboa Park.  Park museums, including the Timken's Schlappi Collection, Reuben Fleet's exhibits for children and the Natural History Museum open their doors free of charge from 5-9 pm both nights.  A wide range of entertainment and food selections will be presented including dance and music the San Diego Junior Theatre, the Civic Youth Ballet along with Del Cerro Baptist’s Christmas Story Tree.  Also included are presentations from the International Christmas Festival, the Santa Lucia Procession at the San Diego Museum of Man and of course unique shopping at the Spanish Village.  More can information may be obtained from balboapark.org.
