In 2013, Hall Winery worked with Signum Architecture, LLP to create the new tasting room hospitality center for Hall Winery. A focus on blending architecture, the existing historic buildings, and the native landscape with the most up to date technology led to this unique building being certified as LEED Gold.
The dramatic entrance and introduction to a guest’s experience is the pathway to the entry portal, lit dramatically- and safely- with Staff Star™ Style C Solid State (BKSSL®) Power of 'e' fixtures.
Architect Magazine wrote about this enticing effect:
"Our point of departure was the heritage oak, a natural drop off and gathering place from which to launch a tour. From that perspective the wide mouth of the entry courtyard welcomes and then splays inward toward the winery entrance. The affect is one of drawing anyone in the vicinity into the court, along a narrowing and descending walkway and pulling them through the vermillion rimmed entry portal."
For blending history, modern technology, art and beauty- Hall Winery is set apart in Napa Valley.
