• A special Acushnet 9/11 Memorial was created in 2009 by artists Adam Katz, Jeremiah Katz, Eric Lintala and Kevin Gallagher. A 6 foot tall beam is set atop a stone pentagon plinth and angled sharply backs towards Ground Zero and sits in the center of a large circular brick foundation. Dispersed throughout the pavement are donation bricks reserved for engraving. The memorial also contains an etched glass dedication monolith displaying numerical loss of life categorized by state and air flight number on that fateful date in 2001. The memorial is illuminated at night by B-K Lighting Adjustable Well Star™ Solid State (BKSSL®) fixtures as well as Mini Micro™ Recessed Uplight Solid State (BKSSL®) fixtures.
• Flight 93 Memorial in Union City, California. B-K Lighting donated Precision 2® fixtures that up light each marker with the name of each hero that died that day in bring down flight 93, thus stopping another disaster.
• Custom fixtures were designed for Zuccotti Park in New York City. Zuccotti Park, formerly called Liberty Plaza Park, was heavily damaged in the September 11 attacks and subsequent recovery efforts of 2001. The plaza was later used as the site of several events commemorating the anniversary of the attacks.
• A special memorial built from "The Sphere", a sculpture that stood in the courtyard of the Twin Towers, which was salvaged from the rubble of the fallen towers and moved to Battery Park. The memorial is illuminated at night by an eternal flame and B-K Lighting Alps™ Series fixtures.
