On May 19th, a B-K sponsored foursome joined nearly 100 golfers to raise awareness, increase education and to possibly help find a cure.

Our team consisted of B-K Lighting + TEKA Illumination owner Kathleen Hagen, Operations Manager Nathan Sloan, Marketing Manager Becky Carlson and Star Finishes Operation Manager Robby Mannon (Winner of the Closet to the Pin Contest).

In addition to taking part in the event, Kathleen Hagen also served as a key sponsor.

"The Komen Central Valley Affiliate would like to thank Kathleen Hagen and B-K + TEKA Illumination for the generous Vision Sponsorship and financial contribution to the Central Valley Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to benefit our 2nd Annual Swing for the Cure® Golf Tournament," said Sharon Johnson, Executive Director of Komen Central Valley. "Contributions like this help us continue all of these vital efforts and ensure a healthier future for local residents. We are very grateful for the support."

Since 1999, Komen Central Valley has fought the battle against breast cancer on many fronts and has invested over $2.6 million dollars in the local community.

• Lymphedema treatment for breast cancer survivors who cannot afford the treatment
• Breast cancer navigation and financial assistance to help women with employment, insurance or financial issues
• Culturally diverse breast cancer education and wellness programs.
